Chihuly Inspired Sculptures

My first graders created radial designs on coffee filters with markers.  We placed them over cups with rubber bands to hold them and sprayed them with starch.  I took them off the cups and we glued them on a base.  They love this project!

We experimented with glaze colors this year with the first grade pinch pots.  I love how they turned out!  Very Creative Ms. Eyre's Class!
